我有wisdom吗

I had my wisdom tooth removed today and it was painless. How amazing. I was at the dental early morning 9:30 am and the dentist was late for 15 mins but when he arrived he was very friendly and very soft-spoken, at that point I knew I was in safe hands... No heavy duty work or exercise today so i will go back to my gym routine only tomorrow :)

Make up or made up?

I only started noticing the importance of make up recently after a party night out w an old friend and she look a hell lot of difference 'before' and 'after'. :D I shant mention name... in case she's reading this. But knowing her, she only has time for $$$$. 'where got time read other people's old grandmother stories online one...' hahaha!

Happy Birthday..." > Danced with tequila shots > separately commented that I have "fun" friends. Hmm... like that also can oh?

Fame

My biggest disappointment in the remake of Fame was that this scene is not there. That's like E most important scene in the entire show. There's no point in doing a remake of the original when most important scenes and themes aren't included, it may as well take form of another name and plot. However, I was touched by the new rendition of Out Here On My Own - I like it.

Segamat is a town and district located in the north of the state of Johor in Malaysia, bordering two other states of Malaysia (Negeri Sembilan on the west and Pahang on the north). Qn: On one hand it seems pretty progressive that in Singapore transsexuals are recognised as their reassigned sex and are able to legally marry (someone of the opposite sex) but on the other, you say you are still being called ‘bapok’ or ‘ah kua’ by strangers. What misconceptions about transsexuals do you most often hear in Singapore?

Emeric: One common misconception is that transsexuals are all prostitutes who hang out at Orchard Towers and Changi Village, soliciting for customers with certain perverse preferences. It's similar to the thinking that gays all love rave parties where they do drugs, get naked and have sex. Just because one group within a community with certain lifestyle practices happens to be most visible at the time does not mean that their conduct applies or is representative of the whole community. We want to show that transsexuals lead responsible lives and contribute just as much as anyone else to Singapore.

You are so low.

This idiot today from Equity is the second most irritating person I have ever met during an interview. All full of himself. w/o even a proper greeting, he just sat there, like an elephant, too heavy to move a inch. Not even a handshake. Nevermind. And thru'out the entire meeting, there was no smile, nor comments - good or bad. The only conversation we had was brief and unpleasant. He doesn't listen, and nor was he even interested to hear from me. His statements were biased and to certain extend, silly. No, stupid. I had wanted so much to just stand up and leave. But I didn't and I m glad I didn't, otherwise I would look really unprofessional – and he wasn't worth having me presenting myself that way.

I do learn one thing today : When the chemistry is not there, nothing else matter.

US gay men mostly getting HIV from main partners

As much as possible I would like to not mention design in this blog but I cant help but to post these posters. I think they are excellent, so direct and effective. I m speaking from a gay man's point of view, I can so relate to it.

They are clear in their message w/o being crude with the visuals. No beautiful boys posing silly looking pretty for the sake of being pretty, and they uses real people san-makeups or hairstyling.

The tagline is often the make or break factor to a campaign and this one absolutely caught my attention. "DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU KNOW?" I am a sucker for out-of-the-box solutions and because often in local commercial art, your sales will be caught up with proper English so that they can sell a concept to clients. I have had enough of "Does it read right?", "Do people get it?", "Something's not so smooth with the way it's being phrased" blah blah blah.... To hell with those. I m more concern with making people think after reading than, with the politically correct presentation of the wordings.

Of cos, with such tasteful use of typography, it's just great icing on the cake.
