Singapore AIDS Candlelight Memorial 2008 will be held on Sunday 18 May 2008 at 7.00pm at “The Big Steps” Amphitheatre, School of Information Systems Building, Singapore Management University (Bras Basah Campus). Please see map : http://www.street-directory.com/smu/index.php#switchbar

As many of you know, the Singapore AIDS Candlelight Memorial is held to remember those who have fallen to the scourge of HIV/AIDS and to support those who live with the virus. It is also a reminder to us all to continue the fight against all stigma and discrimination associated with HIV/AIDS. The fight must go on.

The theme of the International AIDS Candlelight Memorial is Never Forget, Never Give Up. Go to http://www.candlelightmemorial.org/ for more details. If you would like to dedicate a candle in memory of someone you’ve lost to HIV/AIDS, please go to the website and make that dedication.

Also, please forward this email to your friends or fellow volunteers so that everyone knows about the event and no one is left out unintentionally.

Boss: CK, dont mind come into my office for awhile please?
Me: k

Boss: Why the letter? What's the matter?
Me: I have decided lah... Better to leave now before matter gets worse.
Boss: What is the reason to your resignation?
Me: YOU loh.
Boss: huh...?
Me: Cannot stand the way you are squeezing my blood.
Me: I DON'T have to work OT or weekends. That's not part of my contract.

She's one gan cheong spider who simply love to squeeze the last drop of blood out of you

(phone conversation)
Boss: CK, you NEED to work Saturday and Sunday to finish up this XXX project. VERY urgent. You know one.
Me: why. No.
Boss: Then how!
Me: I duno.
Boss: We have xxx xxx xxx projects and yyy yyy yyy projects... all due to print in mid month! And I already brief you on this new pitch that we have lined up for next Monday! You HAVE to work weekends to get them done!
Me: I am already max-ed out. How can I still do this project B on top of what I already have?!
Boss: That's why you need to work weekends!
Me: No lah. That's not fair. I need to rest you know.
Boss: Silence (OS: You think I care?)
Boss:Then how you tell me.
Me: Get freelancer to work on it? I duno... How can I do the pitch and still take up this project B! Impossible.
Boss: OK. Then I will get freelancer to help with one project. You CHOOSE which one you want to do - project B or the pitch!
Me: Silence (OS: FUCK YOU LAH!)
Me: whatever lah.
Me: I don't care lah.

That's my boss and she treats everyone like her maid

Boss: If I know you are going to Bangkok I sure won't approve one!
Me: I dun need your approval. It's a weekend trip. I am leaving friday night and back on sunday night.
Boss: But you could've work saturday and sunday.
Me: You don't pay me OT you know.
Boss: It's expected for you to work OT. Our industry everyone work weekends and work OT.
Me: That's them.
