Taipei - Saturday

A marketing publicity structure inside Eslite 诚品 Bookstore - quite interesting.

On our way to the 101 building - the weather is cold, almost freezing.
This is my one favourite picture (of myself) of this trip - surprising taken by Mr Tai! haha...
Love for Caffeine

It is really a joy reading these comics - a pity i can't follow every issue... the perks of Taiwan
He look so much more energetic than me in this picture, I was almost a walking zombie already from the lack of good quality sleep and from the lack of my usual doze of home-made coffee....

After watching A*Mei concert in Taipei, I dont think I will ever enjoy myself that much anymore watching any other concerts in Sgapore. My conclusion: Singaporeans need to loosen up, alot!

Taipei Arena (臺北巨蛋)
Mini-Big Egg (小巨蛋)

Taipei Arena is an indoor sporting arena located in Taipei, Taiwan, Republic of China. It is located at the site of the former Taipei Municipal Baseball Stadium (built in 1958, opened 1959, demolished 2000).

Taipei - Friday

This is how you get around in Taipei city

We are on my way to 九份 Looking really fresh for our first day out to enjoy Taipei

We almost lost our way inside the train station - picture Amazing Race with a bad wrong turn and we have to walk one huge circle to get back to square one to realised that we couldve turn left and we will be on the right track!

I really like these few pictures - a breakfast-day really make a lot of difference. You'll see....

Waiting for bus to get up the hill to our destination - for tea!

Went back to the same teahouse as Mr Tai prefer this one. We saw a few other PLUs inside the same teahouse and of all places... they were also Sgaporean. Eddy apparently can smell Singaporeans from miles away hehehe...

On our way back to the city and it was almost 4pm-ish... cold and hungry

After a whole day of walking and bus rides, it was good to be back in the city and after a quick wash up, we headed out to Ximending for dinner

Determine to try something new each meal - this one is my choice - we decided on 蛋蛋屋

The view from the second floor. People gathered around a busker - she was actually quite good

Busker number two. Maybe because it was Friday - the crowd inside Ximending is amazing...

Taipei - Thursday

Somethings we do onboard the plane... and thats someone's precious BALLY namecard holder...

We hardly take any day flights, the view is rather refreshing

Another BALLY Bag, Cream colour... if you do see close enough, you will spot it

Sleepy eyes... I know for the next few days there won't be much sleeping...

Finally at TS Hotel! Ximenting, Han Zhong Street.

Our first meal in Taipei, the curry is different from what we get in Spore but interestingly light and appetising. I think it is a good first meal to start the trip...

I see my favourite KFC from here....

A little walk around Ximen Ding... They have a rather interesting traffic system, at a cross-road, cars come from all directions and you almost dunt know where you can or cant go. At here, I saw a gay couple holding hands and they look so comfortable, I just stood there for like two seconds and I think they saw my shock face :D "Taipei 好OPEN喔!"

蔡康永! I think he is my number one gay icon in Taiwan.
